Emily is the real deal!! My husband and I found her when we were ready to give up on trainers forever. We had spent THOUSANDS of dollars already, only to work with trainers whose philosophies we did not align with (prong collar only - refusal to use positive reinforcement, and only shared this after taking all of our money with no refund), or trainers whose methods were just ineffective or would never be sustainable long-term. After all that, it’s hard not to be skeptical, but after just ONE session with Emily, I knew we had found our godsend! Emily is incredibly knowledgeable, but even more important to me—her methods are actually effective and repeatable, and it’s clear that if you stick with it, you will see long-term results. My dog is very reactive on the leash, to the point where I dreaded taking her on walks, but Emily has given us incredible tools to navigate and even stop this behavior, to where walks are now just a fun bonding and training experience. She has also gone above and beyond, offering tons of flexibility with my crazy work schedule, and even bringing her husband and dog to our session to help us practice certain skills. And the cherry on top is that my dog absolutely loves her!! If you're wondering if you should work with her, wonder no further.

Emily is an amazing person and dog lover. She cares and caters specifically to each dog and their individual needs. Emily has helped me countless times for over 7 years with every foster I have had along with my resident dogs. She is experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to body language, mental stimulation, reactivity, and obedience. I can not recommend her enough. Emily is wonderful with animals. She takes the time to really get to know your dog and treats them with so much care. She has a great attitude and truly loves on the dogs that she works with. My Doberman absolutely loves Emily and gets so excited when she sees her. Emily sent me photos of my dog so I could see what they were up to periodically, which was wonderful.
