I usually like to meet the homeowner and animals before I am pet sitting. This gives a first impression for my client and myself to make sure we are both comfortable with taking care of the animal(s). I am able to crate dogs if needed or put them in a safer area if I have to leave. If there are any special instructions that we need to communicate, I love to do it in person so I am able to get to know you and your animal!

Please leave me with your vet’s name and number. I would also appreciate the closest emergency vet’s name and number. If they have any history of biting, I would like to be aware and access and approach the dog beforehand to make sure we are both comfortable around each other. If there is a specific routine/schedule your dog or cat is used to, please write it down and give me the instructions before hand or leave at your house where it is visible. If there are any medications the animals need, please let me know and what time and how much is needed.
A typical day
I love walking dogs and throwing tennis balls for them. I also use puzzles on my dog where I hide treats so she can find them. I also am a great tug of war player.

My mom has always been a pet sitter. I always would volunteer to go help her with any of the dogs or other animals that she needed to take care of. As I got older, I began to help with more tasks than just giving them loves and treats. I am able to walk dogs, clean up after them, help them take medicine, and of course still love on them. I have experience with dogs as large as great danes, and as small as a teacup yorkie! I have also fostered puppies for around 3 years, and have had one of my own. I also have experience being patient with senior dogs and helping with any of their medical needs.

Emma loves animals and has been pet sitting for 6 years. She enjoys making pets happy whether that involves cuddles or throwing a ball. Emma has been a volunteer at the Humane Educational Society which involved walking dogs and giving lots of treats. Emma has taken care of a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, and birds.
Emma is my go to for overnight/week house -pet sitting and for just letting the dogs out for the day. I have 3 dogs and they all love Emma. She cares for them and I am grateful for her care with them as they are happy pups when I return home and I know they have been taken care of with their routine not totally messed up.
