I work part time as a veterinary nurse, so I can be flexible on times of day, and am happy with ad-hoc dates. Overnight stays in your own home may be possible depending on my current schedule - we can always talk it through.

My house is currently not suitable for home boarding, but I am able to provide services in your own home. When looking after pets in your home, I will ensure to be supervising your pet at all times during the visit, and that the garden is secure before letting them out. I will ensure that their walking equipment is fit for purpose and safe before taking them outside for a walk.

It's important for me to know if there are any behaviours that need close attention (for example: phobias, noise sensitivities, resource guarding) as it is vital that I provide a safe environment for your pet and myself. Furthermore, if there are any physical issues that require adjustments then please make me aware (such as a senior dog who may struggle with certain surfaces). Please let me know if your dog has any commands for toileting - this is very important!
A typical day
Depending on what your dog is used to, and their breed specific outlets, I can provide whatever you desire for them. It is great for dogs to have a really good sniff as I find them to be so much more relaxed for a day of sleeping! I also understand that for some dogs, ball is life!

I've been working with animals since college, I'm now in my 30's and am proud to be a registered veterinary nurse. It's a blessing to be working with animals and I firmly believe they deserve all of our love and respect! I love looking after your pets, and know how sensitive they can be to changes in routine. I endeavour to provide a personal and attentive service they helps them feel at ease. I am comfortable, and trained, at giving medication (including injections) if needed.

Emily provided frequent updates with pictures and was able to give our cat multiple eye drops with no issue, our cats both seemed very well looked after and happy.
Emily was great and really knows her way around cats! The kitties were happy to see her and she sent pictures and updates everyday. Would gladly recommend her to look after your fur babies while you are away.
