I’ve been a cat parent for 5 years now, including adopting a second cat in 2024. I successfully integrated my two adult female cats to live peacefully together (not always an easy feat) through a lot of patience and of course, Churu treats. I make sure to keep my cats on a consistent food schedule and play with them as often as possible, including a nightly pre-bedtime play session to make sure they both sleep soundly. I do the same when petsitting, providing patience, respect, routine and companionship for you and your pets.
Information Emily B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know what your pets personality is and their preferences for toys and socializing. I will always put your pets needs first as far as care goes and it is important for me to know what those are. For dog care/walks: please let me know if your dog is reactive to other dogs or cars (for walks), the commands they know, etc. For cat care: if your cat does not like to be pet in a specific spot, picked up, or even touched please let me know.
A typical day
It all depends on the animal! I am happy to give shy pets their space and allow them to come to me (maybe after offering some treats as an incentive). I love to play with and snuggle more active and social pets!! I will always respect your pets boundaries if they do not want to socialize or be pet.

Pet care experience
I grew up in a family that always rescued “unadoptable” dogs and rehabilitated them - I’ve been helping with dog care since I was about 8, Over the years, I have become the “go to” person for many friends and family to dogsit, catsit and even llamasit!! I have experience helping care for cats (like my own!), dogs, llamas, chickens, cows, and goats.
Reviews

My dog loved Emily on sight! She was prompt, professional, and caring. I will definitely be booking with her again!

Emily was wonderful and was everything I hoped for. Professional and so loving to my cat. Stress of leaving him for the first time was completely gone from our original meet and greet. Will definitely want her services in the future when needed.

Emily is a great sitter and very helpful when it comes to taking care of our babies! She is also very communicative throughout the stay.

Emily did a great job with our animals, staying with them while we were away over the holidays. She was really communicative leading up to us leaving, and provided great updates while we were away. I could tell she really enjoyed being with our animals. It was great to know they were well taken care of while we were gone.
