I have been pet sitting for about 10 years now. What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat every pet as if they were my own. As the owner of a well-socialized and well-behaved 6-month-old Labrador Retriever, I understand the importance of consistency, patience, exercise, and positive reinforcement in helping dogs feel comfortable and thrive. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I'm comfortable with puppies and can help reinforce basic training, house-training habits, crate routines, and good manners. I enjoy keeping dogs active through walks, trail adventures, playtime, and enrichment activities while also making sure they have plenty of time to rest and relax. I focus on providing reliable communication, personalized care, and regular photo updates so owners can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and receiving plenty of attention. My goal is to create a positive experience that feels like a home away from home for every pet I care for.

Emily stopped by the house when we weren’t around to take Spartacus for a walk. She was wonderful with him, got him out of his crate and took him around being mindful of his injured paw. Then when she got back, put him back in his crate with no problem.
Spartacus was very comfortable with Emily and she was very attentive to him. Definitely using her services again!
Grateful for Emily while we’re away from our pup!

Schedule
I provide house sitting and boarding primarily on weekends, holidays, and other days when I am fully available to give pets the attention and care they deserve. I enjoy creating a safe, comfortable, and fun environment where pets feel at home while their owners are away. I also have a 6-month-old Labrador Retriever who is very friendly, well-behaved, and loves meeting other dogs. She enjoys playing, sharing space respectfully, and helping visiting pets feel welcome. I prioritize each pet's individual needs and make sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, supervision, and updates throughout their stay.

Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I make sure pets have fresh water, regular meals, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection and attention. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment where dogs can relax, play, and socialize. My friendly 6-month-old Labrador Retriever enjoys the company of other dogs and helps create a welcoming atmosphere. When house sitting in a client's home, I respect their pet's established schedule, including feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for while they are away. My goal is always to make pets feel loved, comfortable, and stress-free while providing owners with peace of mind.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs active, engaged, and happy. Depending on each dog's energy level and owner's preferences, we enjoy long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of attention throughout the day. My Labrador and I regularly visit local trails, including the Bear Legacy Trail, where we enjoy long walks and plenty of opportunities to explore and get exercise. For social dogs who enjoy being around others, I also like taking them to the dog park for safe, supervised play and socialization. At home, I provide plenty of playtime, toys, and affection to make sure pets stay mentally and physically stimulated. My goal is to make every stay feel like a fun vacation while keeping pets safe, comfortable, and following their usual routine.
