My name is Emily. I'm 23 years old and I am about to begin a Vet Tech (animal nurse) degree. I've lived with dogs and cats my entire life. I'm patient and understanding with animals. Over my live span my family has had 3 dogs and 5 cats. I have a lot of experience with cats of all different temperaments. I'm comfortable walking small and medium size dogs with all types of leash manners and any other size dog that doesn't pull too hard. (a little pulling is ok). I have also gained some experience with other small animals from the time volunteering at the MSPCA. I also know how to administer medication to pets. I'd love to hang out with and take care of your animals, whether it's for a check in or a nice long walk.

Safety, trust & environment
I strive to make my presence as uninvasive as possible to an animal and their routine. Of course, anytime that an animals people are away, they will have disruption to their routine. I work with animals at their pace. If your cat doesn't want to play with me and she just wants to stare at me from the corner, then that's what we'll do. If your dog needs some time before he fully trusts me to leave the yard then that's cool.

Muffin is happy to have Emily home from college and so am I. She takes impeccable care of our girls in two locations with very different personalities. Given our cats were adopted during COVID they tend to be overly bonded to us. Sometimes not eating or using the litter box. Emily has been in the pet bubble with us all the way and our cats love her. She sends details every visit and pics of the cats playing or being brushed and petted. We love Emily.
Went away for a couple of days. As usual left my sweet girl in the hands of Emily. Muffin just adores Emily. So much so that she lays on the floor and shows her belly. What more can I say?
Stella loves Emily! She is the cat whisperer and Stella allowed Emily to clip her nails. So thankful Emily is available and is so good with Stella. Hands down would use Emily again next time!
I had Emily stop in and feed Muffin,play with her, and trim her nails. Muffin immediately remembered her and led her right to the toys to play. Emily is trustworthy and dependable. Muffin loves Emily.
Emily was so great with Stella. She play with her all the time and kept an eye on her food and litter box behaviors. She even was able to trim Stella‘s nails which was so unbelievable! Emily is awesome and Stella loves her. And I would definitely use Emily again. She gives me the peace of mind I need when away. Thanks Emily!

I'm about to return to school, but I will have a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule, especially in the evenings and on weekends.
