I currently work full time at a daycare. I’m gone from 8-1, come home for a lunch break from 1:15-1:45, and then work 2-5 pm. I’m home most evenings the whole night.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavior issues or accommodations. Please let me know if your dog ‘resource guards’, as my dog tends to do this and two resource guarding dogs is not always the ideal fit- we can discuss this. In addition, any dog must be friendly with other dogs and get along with mine. My dog also doesn’t do well with puppies, so I can only accept dogs over 1 year of age. Your dog should not have separation anxiety and be quiet when left alone since I do live in an apartment.
A typical day
I will customize my day to your dog’s needs. A typical day includes a walk, snuggle time, chew and toy time, and meal times. My apartment has an off-leash dog run, and I can bring them to a big park, dog park, beach, or trail hikes.

I have been around dogs all my life and have owned my own dog, Belle, for 5 years now. Belle would come with me on any overnight house sitting requests. I have been a pack leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and also fostered almost 40 dogs through Fetch WI Rescue where I am also on the board as the Director. I’ve been focused on fostering so I haven’t dog sat in the past year, but I am ready to do some sitting and boarding this summer! I am a daycare teacher, so I am used to communicating daily with parents! I will always send updates, photos, and accommodate any requests you may have.

Emily took such great care of our dog for us while we were on vacation! From the pictures she sent us, it seemed like he was on his own vacation. She took him to several dog parks, played with him every day outside, and even snuggled him at night time. It was such a relief knowing our dog was in such good hands. We will definitely have her watch him in the future. Highly recommend!!!
