I grew up surrounded by animals and was involved in 4-H for 10 years, where I raised and cared for everything from dogs and rabbits to goats and horses. That experience taught me how to be patient, dependable, and tuned into each animal's unique needs. I’ve had both senior dogs and high-energy puppies in my own home, so I know how to adapt to different personalities and routines. Whether it’s helping a nervous dog settle in or keeping a playful pup busy, I genuinely love giving animals the attention and care they deserve. I treat every pet like family and focus on making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood while you're away.

Whether I’m watching pets in my home or theirs, I try to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I make sure they have plenty of attention, playtime, and a calm environment. I’m happy to follow any feeding instructions, medication needs, or preferred walking routes. My goal is to help pets feel safe, loved, and at home—even when their family is away.

Emily agreed to meet my pup last week until I remembered that I had inadvertently scheduled her on a day Juneau was having surgery. I reached out to her and she agreed to come this week instead so I went ahead and let her payment process for last week and trusted her for it. This week she ghosted me. I think it’s extraordinarily unprofessional to leave people hanging. I sincerely need to find someone for my Pup and she has wasted valuable time needed to find an appropriate sitter. I now see the type of person I would have been dealing with and realize I dodged a bullet. If you were not interested you could have just said so. It’s okay to not be interested but it’s not okay yo take their money and ghost them. I will be reporting this to Rover and I do want my money back.
Absolutely love her! I am an RN and my boyfriend is a PT so between us we work 12 and 10 hour shifts. It was hard moving from another state and finding a reliable and affordable service that could walk the the frequency that we needed. Also as a nurse my schdule is never the same and I can be put on call and pick up extra shifts. she has been incredibly reliable and really flexible.Her prices are affordable in my opinion for someone who wants excellent care while also on a budget. I have a Siberian husky who is 1 currently and a 9 year old golden chow mix. For perspective a high energy dog and also my other dog can be reactive around other dogs. The latter was never an issue for emily. I’ve also used her while going out for both a weekend and 2 week long vacation. Was never concerned about my dog or homes safety while away. I’m someone that’s been through many Rover clients and personal hires.
After being told by my previous petsitting service that they yet again could not accommodate my request to care for my pets while I was out of town, I sought out an alternative. I conversed directly with Emily about my situation, and even with short notice, she was able to assist with my needs. she is prompt and professional with their visits, sending regular updates that include photos and a recap of their care appointment. When I travel, I feel confident my pets are well cared for thanks to Emily
I utilized Emily to care for my Senior Cat. With lots o years behind her, she has a fair number of needs. Emily did a great job of taking care of her. I really liked knowing when Emily was at the house and receiving photos of my cat while away. I would definitely recommend Emily for your petsitting needs.
We have only just started but Emily is wonderful! So good with my little guys and so helpful – an absolute joy! From drop in visits to overnights!
Emily is the perfect solution to caring for our pets when we have to travel. With three detailed updates per day, including photos, we know that everything is under control at home. Compared to when we have boarded them, our German shepherds are much less anxious when we are away since they are able to remain in their own home. Also, we love it when we return from a trip and our dogs are home waiting to greet us. Using emily has made leaving our pets less stressful for us as well as our cherished furry family members.

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I currently work part time with flexible hours, so I’m able to give pets my full attention throughout the day. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or overnight care, I can be fully available to meet your pet’s needs and keep them on their usual schedule. I love having animals around and make caring for them a top priority in my week.
