Friendly and reliable animal lover in North London
Hello, my name is Emily. I had a beagle named Shiloh for 11 years, who was my best friend. I can't wait to have another dog, but right now I am not in the position to have one full-time, so caring for other people's companions is the next best thing!

Emily was fantastic with my little Daphne. Kept me updated throughout and clearly loves dogs ! Will be back!

I’m grateful for Emily that she treated Truffle with so much love and attention and took amazing care of Truffle. Highly recommend!

We boarded with Emily for a long bank holiday weekend and can't recommend her enough! Knuckles loves Emily and was so excited to get dropped off. We got regular updates on how Knuckles was doing, with daily photos and info. I think our pup had way more fun during the weekend than us! Emily is super close to Hampstead Heath so Knuckles got plenty of exercise and fun playtime, which is important for a high-energy border collie, as well as relaxing downtime. We can't recommend Emily enough and would board with her again in a heartbeat!

Emily was nothing but remarkable for our dog Tokyo. Our dog is full of character (arguably bipolar), and doesn’t take kindly to just anyone. Emily not only managed to get Tokyo to warm up to her quickly, but also respected her boundaries and space when necessary. Tokyo unfortunately had a bad tummy during her stay and a no.2 accident indoors, Emily was understanding and respectful in her communications, which left us feeling at ease despite being overseas. I’d recommend Emily to anyone who wants their dog in safe hands. We can only hope we get the fortune of having Emily care for Tokyo again in the future!

Thanks, Emily. Bella seems really happy to have stayed with you.

Unfortunately, my experience with this sitter was far from what we hoped for. After a meet-and-greet where she explained she had lots of experience with many dogs, we felt comfortable booking a few days in June. But upon drop-off, she didn’t meet us at the door — instead we had to climb stairs to the second floor. This should be clearly mentioned in the profile for anyone with accessibility concerns. We explained our dog may take a few minutes to settle, as is normal. He’s a calm, well-behaved dog — something echoed in our many positive reviews across platforms. But within 10 minutes, she began messaging saying he was crying and she was worried about the neighbours. She didn’t appear to have the skills or calm energy to handle the situation — something I’d expect from a sitter who says they are experienced. She contacted us again shortly after with similar concerns. At that point, I felt uneasy leaving our dog with someone who seemed overwhelmed. When I came back to pick him up, he was calm and not crying. I was told “he was before,” but her anxious energy and lack of connection with the dog made me feel this was not a safe or loving environment. As a result, we had to cancel our holiday last minute, including our flights, because of the disruption. I can’t speak for everyone’s experience, but ours was disappointing. She seemed more concerned about her own comfort and the neighbours than about providing care and reassurance to the dog. This may not happen with every client, but please consider carefully before booking.

Schedule
I work freelance in a creative field so my schedule is pretty flexible and I work from home most of the time. I can be available for most services during the week and weekends unless I’ve stated that I’m away for a particular day on my calendar.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a flat in Hampstead Village a short walk from the Heath. It’s on the 2nd floor so very easy to take dogs out for bathroom breaks and walks. They are welcome to be on the sofa (unless they’re not allowed at home) and I can crate them overnight if that is what they are used to.
A typical day
I live a 5-minute walk away from the beautiful Hampstead Heath and ponds, so they will have a large area to explore on our walks. There are also dog-friendly cafes in the area, and they will get plenty of attention from me when in the flat.
