Information Emily B. would like to know about your pet

It's important to me that the dog is house trained and that they get along with small dogs (as I have a small dog). It's also good to confirm their size, and their typical feeding, bathroom schedule. Whether they have any allergies (as I feed them treats) or existing known issues.

A typical day

I take the dogs out on a short walk. I then work for a couple hours, while the dogs sleep/play in the living room. At lunch we go on a 30 min walk. In the afternoon, I like to take the dogs on a longer walk before heading home for dinner. :)

Pet care experience

I've had a small 15lb dog for 7 years and in addition to 4 years on Rover, I am a Mutville foster. I also have many years of experience taking care of my friend’s dogs often with play dates, walks, hikes, and overnights. My dog loves dogs and has so many friends! So it was a very natural to be on Rover (instead of getting a second dog ;) ). I take lots of photos to share, usually in a shared iPhone album if you have an iPhone. Boarding: I have a 1BD apartment with lots of toys and beds. But unfortunately, I can only take dogs up to 20lbs in my home. House sitting: my dog comes with me on overnights so your animals would need to be comfortable with her. She’s very well trained and respectful of their space.

Emily is THE BEST! She was so good with my little dog Ellie (who can have serious separation anxiety). She sent lots of pictures and updates. I recommend her highly!!

This was my very first time using Rover, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, from the moment I saw Emily’s profile, I felt a strong connection and decided to follow my intuition, and I’m so glad I did. She is absolutely amazing, truly the best! I had considered three different sitters, but something about Emily stood out. I’ve left my Chihuahua/Greyhound mix with two people I personally know before (about seven times in total), but never with someone new from an app, the day before, I was extremely anxious and worried about how it would go, but from the very beginning, Emily gave me such peace of mind, she communicated with me the entire time, sent pictures and videos, and always updated me on how things were going, that constant communication gave me the security I needed to focus on my work and truly relax. What really surprised me was my dog’s reaction, he has extreme separation anxiety, and I was shocked to see how quickly he opened up with Emily, in the photos and videos she sent, I could see how comfortable he was, something I never expected on a first meeting. When I picked him up, I was amazed, as she opened the door, he was so focused on her that he didn’t even notice me right away, that showed me how safe and bonded he felt in her presence. I’m still in awe every time I look back at those photos and videos. Emily made the whole experience smooth, harmonious, and perfect, I’ve already told several people about her, and I will recommend her to anyone who ever asks me about Rover. I’ll be needing a sitter again in September and October, and I’ll definitely be reaching out to Emily first, hoping she has availability, because I can’t imagine leaving my dog with anyone else now. Emily truly went above and beyond, She’s incredible, and I’m beyond grateful for the peace of mind and the wonderful care she provided. Highly, highly recommended!
