I took time off to care for my 16-year-old dog, and later, to allow for neighbor dog sitting swapping for my current 13-year-old dog and two others, one being anxious, and am starting up again, slowly, with just cats. I do work a 'normal' weekday schedule so am available after 5 pm. If there is need to spent time with your cat(s) in the morning/after, we can discuss it and see if it will work with both our schedules. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and farm animals, as well as birds and reptiles. I enjoy spending time with animals and would love to meet yours! I am clean, respectful of your house, belongings, and most of all, your cat(s). I prefer to do a meet and greet with you and your cat(s). Before I spend time with your cat(s), I would like to know their secret favorite scratching spot, food and treats, limitations, emergency contact and vet information, and other information that help keeps them happy while you are away. I realize all my photos are of dogs, but I love spending time with cats and other animals. I won't publicly posting other people's pets in their homes, but am happy to send you photos. I follow routines given, spot check for safety concerns, accidents, etc, and focus on the pet needs and wants, whether it is a walk, playing with toys, cuddling and petting, or even just being there.

Emily’s was an awesome place for Bowdie! She was very communicative, sent pictures and updates. It seems like Jowdie had a great time there.
Emily was amazing - would highly recommend! My pup is very anxious, high maintenance and quirky to say the least. Emily took the time to get to know him beforehand during a lengthy meet & greet and it was obvious she really cared about Whipper. Her pup, Penny, was also a wonderful and gracious hostess - sharing her toys, her mom, her yard and was eager to be friends. Emily sent plenty of updates to reassure me Whipper was adjusting ok after I dropped him off, as well as throughout his stay. She made sure he was well-exercised, well-loved and well-care for. Hands down one of the best sitters I have found on Rover.
Emily was absolutely incredible! Fin is a high maintenance little guy with a lot of quirks and can be reactive. Emily took the time to ask and learn his triggers, what would help and not be helpful. She even let us meet up before the doggy day care to make sure her dog, Penny, and Fin were a good fit and that everyone was comfortable. In addition to how good she was with Fin, she was so kind and nice as a person. She was understanding with flexibility with me about picking up and dropping off due to my schedule. 15/10 If I ever need another Rover in Anchorage again, I would pick her every time.
Emily was excellent with my two kitties. They are very anxious and love attention and she was the perfect sitter while I was gone. I was updated daily with pictures. Emily is very professional and I felt very comfortable with her taking care of my kitties while I was away. I will definitely request her services the next time I go out of town!
I felt so at ease with Emily as my sitter. She updated me every day and you can tell that she loves animals.
Emily was absolutely fantastic with our 3 cats. I would highly recommend her

Schedule
I live in downtown Eagle River and work in midtown Anchorage on Mondays. My work schedul is 8 am-4 pm, with a 30 min lunch break.

- I like to know the schedule, routines, foods, favorite scratches and places in the home, vet information, quirky things I may find, and things the pet does and does not like.
