Prior Service Dog Raiser, Dog Lover
Hi there! I'm a prior puppy raiser for a service dog nonprofit, and I’ve had the privilege of raising three amazing dogs. My experience in training includes positive reinforcement and marker word training. We absolutely love dogs and have three of our own – a laid-back Labrador Retriever and two rescue mutts. All are great with other dogs. As I work from home full-time, your dog will never be alone for more than 2-3 hours when I step out for errands. My husband and I are very active people who love hiking and walking, and I’m happy to tailor activities to meet your dog's individual needs, whether they love adventure or just a relaxed stroll. Your pup will feel right at home with us!

Emily was wonderful with our energetic dog, Tallie. It is obvious that she is a dog lover. An added bonus is two friends (her two sweet pups) for Tallie to play with. A great experience and will definitely call on Emily again!

Schedule
I work from home full-time, so am pretty flexible for boarding. I do travel for work about once a month, but if your stay overlaps with my travel, my husband will take over pet care.

We have a fenced yard with a large slab of turf that your pup can enjoy. We can utilize baby gates and crating as needed, depending on your dogs' needs.

A typical day
Our labrador loves to play tug-of-war with other pups. We also take our dogs on daily walks and hikes every few days. We enjoy playing ball in our yard, too
