I can’t think of many people I’d trust more with an animal than Emily. She doesn’t just own pets—she genuinely takes care of them, and there’s a difference. Her dog eats better than most grown adults I know: grilled turkey, rice, apples, bananas, broccoli—the whole damn menu—because Emily pays attention to what she needs and makes sure she gets it. Her cat is spoiled absolutely rotten with love, as every respectable cat probably believes it deserves to be. She is patient, attentive, dependable, and the kind of person who notices the little things with animals because she actually cares about them. And if you need one final character reference, she managed to take care of this old ape for a long time too, which ought to qualify her for just about anything. After winning a goldfish at the fair, her nieces took their fish to her since as a child she had one who lived 5 years. I cannot recommend Emily enough! Finding someone I trust with my dogs, hedgehog and rabbits is not always easy because they each have their own unique personalities and challenges. One of my dogs is very timid and anxious, and the other is extremely protective and can be difficult to walk, so I knew it would take someone patient, understanding, and confident to earn their trust! Emily has been absolutely amazing with them! She took the time to understand each dog’s needs, helped them feel comfortable, and treated them with so much kindness and care! It means so much to know that my dogs are not only safe, but genuinely cared for and enjoying their time with their sitter while I'm gone! The same goes for my rabbits. They do not do well with change or with me being gone, however Emily has been so patient with them and understanding of their needs! Emily is dependable, compassionate, and truly has a gift with animals! I have complete peace of mind knowing my babies are in her care as shes treats them each like one of her own!
