It’s important for me to know a few key things about a pet ahead of time to ensure their comfort and happiness while in my care. I’d like to know what their preferred forms of reinforcement are (treats, praise, play), any special medications or health needs, and whether they have high or low energy levels. I’d also want to know how they feel about strangers and if they have any favorite treats, toys, or activities. This helps me provide the best experience tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
A typical day
I love getting to know each pet’s individual preferences! I’d find out what their favorite activities are—whether it’s playing fetch, tug-of-war, or just relaxing with lots of pets and belly rubs. If they enjoy walks, we’d definitely go on some fun, leisurely strolls to explore their neighborhood or a nearby park. Above all, my goal is to make sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care!
