I’ve helped care for my dog for the past ten years, so most of my experience comes from being responsible for her day to day needs over a long period of time! This includes feeding, walking, bathing and cleaning up after her, and learning how to manage her high-energy personality. Over the years, I’ve gotten comfortable reading her and redirecting her when she becomes overly excited, and figuring out when she needs exercise, attention, or a little space. Having a dog of my own has also made me very aware of how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, which is something I would take seriously with every pet I watch!
