I treat all pets and homes with the same care, respect and caution as I do my own. I have cleaned up various accidents, informed owners of anything unusual I notice in their pets and sought medical care when appropriate. Rest assured that your pet is a safe as can be with me. I am also happy to tidy post, water house plants and open/draw curtains whilst you are away. Just let me know your situation when booking.

When you enquire about a booking with me I will arrange for a free meet-and-greet prior to the date of booking commencement so that I can get to know you, your pet and your home, and we can decide if I am right for you both. I will ask you about their eating, playing, pooping, and (if applicable) outdoor exploration habits and devise a routine that you approve of. If we decide to go ahead with the booking, we can arrange exchange of keys/access either then or at a later date.
A typical day
My drop-in service includes: - Feeding, fresh water and cleaning of bowls/utensils. - Scooping and changing litter trays and/or outside toilet breaks. - Play time and cuddles - as much as your pet is comfortable with. - Ensuring cats stay inside or are let outside, depending on preference. - Administering medication if needed. - Photos and videos of your pet enjoying their visit for your reassurance. - Tidying post, watering house plants and opening/drawing curtains if required.

I am a fully insured and experienced pet sitter based in the Chesterfield, Derbyshire area delivering bespoke, attentive, at-home care for cats, dogs, small mammals and fish! Although my speciality is cats (read below), I have been a safe and reliable carer for my friends’ and neighbours’ dogs for several years, including puppies. I understand each pet has their own individual personality and preferences. During our free meet and greet I will work with you to devise a routine that keeps your pet happy and gives you peace of mind. Short walks for toilet breaks are included as part of the drop-in service.
