Emily did a great job of looking after our high-energy Springador, Loki! She was incredibly patient with him, re-assuring is with updates and pictures at regular intervals throughout his 3-night stay!

I structure my day around the needs of the pets I care for, ensuring they receive consistent attention, exercise, and care. Morning walks are a great way to start the day, providing both the dogs and me with some fresh air and physical activity. Throughout the day, I schedule drop-ins and additional walks, depending on the needs of each pet. Evenings are often reserved for house sitting or another round of walks, making sure each pet feels comfortable and settled for the night. My love for being outdoors and spending time with animals makes pet care a fulfilling and enjoyable part of my routine, allowing me to stay active and connected with nature while ensuring the well-being of the pets I look after.

I love keeping pets engaged and happy with a variety of fun activities tailored to their interests and energy levels. Here are some of the activities I enjoy doing with the pets I care for: 1. Long Walks and Nature Hikes: For dogs who love the outdoors, I take them on scenic walks or hikes, allowing them to explore new smells and enjoy the fresh air. 2. Playtime: Whether it’s a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or chasing after toys, playtime is a great way to keep pets active and mentally stimulated. 3. Interactive Games: I enjoy engaging pets with puzzle toys or hide-and-seek games, which challenge their minds and provide entertainment. 4. Training Sessions: For pets who enjoy learning new tricks or practicing commands, I incorporate short training sessions that are fun and rewarding. 5. Cuddle Time and Relaxation: Some pets just love to relax and be close, so I make sure to spend quiet time with them, offering plenty of cuddles and belly rubs. 6. Exploration Adventures: If the pet is comfortable with it, I sometimes take them to pet-friendly parks or neighborhoods for a change of scenery and socialization.
