Hello! My name is Emilie and I have been caring for animals my entire life. I received my first dog (a lab) as a birthday gift at 5 years old and loved every minute of it. Since then, our family has gotten two more dogs (another lab and a Lhasa Maltese) and two bunnies. I love animals so much I started working at a veterinary clinic. Here I dealt with a large variety of animals, from ferrets to birds, including dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, needs, and temperaments. I am PetTech (PetSaver) certified and trained in CPR, First aid, and care and can provide the certification upon request. I have an extensive background in administering many different medications (as well as oral vaccines). I also have trained several dogs in the past. Many around me know of my passion for animals, thus being how I became known as the neighborhood animal sitter, sitting nearly a half dozen neighborhood pets alone. I have cared for and pet-sat neighborhood animals including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and fish for a number of years. I share a deep connection and understanding with every animal I meet, being the reason I am on this app. To spend more time doing what I love- meeting and providing top care for your fur babies. I am self-employed, so I welcome day time drop-in visits requests. I find working with animals to be very rewarding and fulfilling to me. I am looking to set up reoccurring daily and/or weekly pet care. I would love to get to know several animals very well and provide them quality care on a consistent basis. However, I am also open to short term care situations. For any other requests or questions, Please let me know. If you would like pet care for a time that I am not available on my calendar, please contact me to see what we can do. As of now, I do not offer pet care at my house. However, I am open to come to your house to keep your animal relaxed and comfortable in their own home. When at your home, your animal will receive the most exceptional care and treatment possible. I treat everyone's animal as if they are my own. I also treat your home with respect, ensuring I follow your directions as well as clean up after both myself and your pet. If you allow, I would love to spoil your pet with their favorite treats, activities, and mental stimulation/engagement. I enjoy providing picture updates for my clients.
