I am currently working part-time for dog walking Monday through Friday, but I look forward to giving your dog(s) the quality time they may need during the day.

When out for a dog walk, I keep all dogs leashed and with a solid collar/harness. I also choose walk routes that are safe for both the dog(s) and myself: preferably with sidewalks, wide roads with low vehicle traffic, good visibility, non-slick surface, cool enough for paws, avoid salted surfaces (when possible). I do my best to wear clothing with bright colors, to help with visibility as well.

A typical day
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, running, and snowshoeing! But if the weather and/or the dogs aren't up for a walk/hike, I also enjoy putting together some fun enrichment activities and teaching them some new tricks!

Hello! My name is Emmy, and I am an avid animal lover! I enjoy helping people and their dogs live their happiest lives together, as best as I can through both dog walking and dog training! I have raised and cared for my own pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and reptiles! I have three dogs of my own :) I am also a certified dog trainer through the Catch Canine Trainers Academy, and am enrolled with the Animal Behavior College Service Dog Trainer program. I have experience raising puppies of my own, but I also have experience raising, doing basic training, and socializing for puppies for Canine Companions (a non profit that matches people with disabilities with service dogs, free of charges). Both of the puppies I raised went on to graduate as service/assistance dogs! I have walked dogs for family, friends, and neighbors, but I also worked for a dog walking business when I lived in Denver, CO. Working with people and their dogs is a passion of mine!

We met animal loving Emmy when our poodle, Liberty, was a puppy. We were desperate novices in need of help in how to train her! Emmy is knowledgeable, confident, patient, trustworthy, sharing tips all the time and "teaching" by example. She is fit (runs with her own dogs), and comes well prepared to go out in any weather. Her car is set up with extra supplies in case she needs them. Emmy is flexible, respectful, cooperative and a great communicator. Emmy is part of the great success we have with Liberty. Liberty loves her and so do we! Liberty knows about the time it is for her "walking date" and waits and watches with great anticipaton for her to arrive.
Emilia is an extremely kind hearted and knowledgeable dog enthusiast! She will always put the animals well being first and foremost. There isn’t anyone in the world I would trust the care of my animals to more. Emilia loves dogs and will certainly love and care for yours if you have the opportunity to work with her, would absolutely recommend 1000x over again.
