I currently have a full-time job working with horses, but I make time for my own animals at home. I am not in the busy season so I have more availability to care for my animals at home and others!

A typical day
I can’t wait to treat your furry family members like my own. I love playing fetch with my dogs and working on new and old tricks! Walking is a huge part of my daily routine as well as lots of cuddles and kisses while watching movies!

Pet care experience
I’m experienced, not only with cats and dogs, but also with many different types of farm animals. I’ve raised dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigs, cattle, and have had hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, chickens, and ducks. I have grown up with many different breeds of dogs and cats raising them up from puppies/kittens till they were seniors. I have also worked at a vet clinic during summers assisting vets during surgery and caring for the animals post-surgery. I’m very active, and a hard worker. I have a calm disposition when working with animals and I have a bachelors in animal science. If you have more than just dogs and cats I would be willing to negotiate taking care of them as well. I took a break from Rover once I got into college and moved down to South Carolina. Now that I have a stable job and a house with a yard I’m ready to invite your furry friends into my home with open arms!

Second time Chip stayed with Emileigh, she’s been so great with him and keeps us updated with pics throughout the week. She’s my go-to when we go out of town!
Beau loves going to Emileigh’s and we know that he is always going to be very well taken care and get plenty of attention! Emileigh sends lots of pictures, keeps us updated, and responded to messages quickly, making it much easier when we are away from our pup!
Emileigh was great! This was our first time ever leaving our dog with someone we didn’t know and she was very friendly and helpful during the booking and prep for the stay. She sent us several pictures each day we were gone, and that made us feel a lot better. I think our dog had a great vacation too! We’d definitely use Emileigh again!
I would highly recommend Emileigh to watch any of your animals. I have know her and her family all of her life and animals have been a big part of her everyday life. Their household has always had 2+ dogs and cats at any given time, and with her 4H program she has always cared for her horse, goats, pigs and kittens with love and compassion. We have had her take care of our animals when we have gone out of town. You will not be disappointed at all to have her take care of your fur babies.
