My name is Emiko, I am based in Kaimuki area, just moved here from Maui but originally from CA. I’ve taken care of dogs and other pets my whole life but am new to rover and trying to build this profile so thanks for stopping by! I have a spaniel mix pup named Zephyr, I love animals and the healing energies they bring in their personalities and just love how funny they are. Getting a dog has been one of the most healing things in my life, he is literally my best friend, baby and side kick and I understand finding someone who will take the upmost care for your pet is a crucial decision. Especially if they come with baggage or little quirks (Zephyr is a rescue) or they need extra care like medication, etc. I will take care of your pets like they’re my own—feeding, walking, playing, following any other additional instructions and giving them lots of love to feel safe and happy 🤍 *If looking to board, please keep in mind I have my own dog here at home and can only board dogs that are friendly with other dogs, I won’t be able to board big dogs as I have a small space as well

A typical day
A typical day with me is full of fun, exercise, and lots of love! If your pup enjoys the outdoors, we might head to a dog-friendly beach (Zephyrs favorite) or visit a local dog park for safe social time and play if that’s cool with you :) I tailor each day based on your dog’s energy level and personality—whether it’s a long walk, fetch in the yard, or cuddle time at home. I make sure your pet gets attention, affection, and plenty of mental and physical stimulation throughout the day, always keeping their safety and happiness as top priority.

- To give your pet the best care possible, I’d love to know their daily routine, energy level, and any quirks or triggers they might have. Please share any health issues, medications, dietary needs, or if they have leash reactivity or separation anxiety. I also appreciate knowing how they get along with other dogs and people, and if they’re okay riding in the car for beach or park outings. The more I know, the more comfortable and safe I can make our time together!
