Purr-fectly pampered felines!
I have owned and taken care of cats for over 20 years. I have experience with cats of all ages from kitten to senior and have a soft spot for the old kitties. I love getting to know each cat's unique personalities and gaining their trust. Having cats for so long has given me so much experience in caring for them and reading what they need. I pride myself on knowing their boundaries and not crossing them. I am more than happy to deep clean litter boxes, feed any kind of food and administer medication (I have experience with oral medication and injectable meds) and am ok being the temporary bad guy to help a kitty out.

Emerson was so fantastic, my cat is older and a little complex at the moment but Emerson was so understanding and flexible. Stella was in great hands.
Emerson took great care of my older diabetic cat!
Emerson did a great job pet sitting for my cat while I was out of town. He needed insulin shots twice a day. She was able to provide the care and attention for him to be healthy and happy.
Emerson is a very empathetic and compassionate pet person. She is a conscientious and responsible pet carer. She has been very caring to an aging and sickly (and needy) geriatric cat and yet spirited and playful to my kittens. I would have her pet sit any cat anytime again.

Schedule
I work all week, mostly till 5pm. After that I have open availibility. With previous cats, I have made sure to feed them before leaving (and days when I'm not leaving super early, spend some time with them) and then feeding, spending time, and lounging around with my pets when I get home. If there are specific things needed, let me know. I am not able to be home all day currently and have no consistent off days as of June.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small apartment but it's near city park and has a fenced in backyard if you want some outdoor time for pets. The yard is not directly attached to my apartment but rather to the building itself. I don't have tons of vertical space, and I do have tons of antiques and breakable things in my space. Since I'm used to cats who don't jump around too much, I would prefer more lazy cats to the overly curious ones.
A typical day
I love to play with pets and sit with them. I mostly have lap cats so it's pretty easy for me to chill with them, but I have taken care of more energetic and shy pets too. Typically I wake up and give pets food and fresh water while I eat breakfast. If I have more time in the morning, I try to spend some time with them. Otherwise I prioritize that when I return home. I typically get of work around 5. When I get home I like to chill for a bit before giving them food around 7ish. If dog sitting I would bring them to my the big park nearby to look around in the mornings or afternoons depending on my availibility.
