I tailor walks to the size and age of the dog, and if possible, I like to let the dog make some of the direction choices because it helps their brains. I love playing with dogs from fetch to puzzles. When it’s raining or snowing, I always put down towels by the doors to protect floors from muddy paws and shoes. I’ve always been good about replacing gates as needed to keep my client’s home safe and clean. My mom taught me to always leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I usually take care of dishwasher and laundry loads before I leave.

In the past, my clients have left me with a page of instructions with feeding schedules and amounts, emergency contacts, and vet information. During a meet up, I’d like to get a sense of how social your dog likes to be; I can accommodate all levels, but I like to know so I can keep your dog safe and happy.
A typical day
This area has some wonderful parks, and if your dog will do well there, I’d love to take them on walks, runs, or to play fetch. I frequently play with dogs in their backyards, and I make sure to give the dog time to run around outside during all potty breaks.

Pet care experience
I’ve cared for my neighbor’s and professor’s dogs since 2012, and got one of my own in 2015. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs: wire-haired, curly-haired, 5 lbs, 90 lbs, puppies, and geriatric dogs. My experience includes bathroom check-ins while owners are at work all the way to overnight, week-long stays.
