Availability
I mostly work remotely from home, so I’m available to care for pets throughout the day. This gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attention, playtime, and companionship. I do occasionally travel, but I always keep my schedule updated so pet parents know my availability in advance.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I ensure they are always in a secure environment; whether that means keeping a close eye on them during outdoor play, double-checking doors and gates, or following feeding and medication routines exactly as instructed. I respect each pet’s unique needs and comfort level, giving them the attention, enrichment, and calm environment they need to feel safe and happy. I also keep pet parents updated with regular check-ins and photos so they can feel at ease knowing their pet is well cared for.

Information Emely I. would like to know about your pet
It’s helpful to know your pet’s routine, personality, and any preferences ahead of time. This includes feeding schedule, favorite toys, play style, any fears or things that make them anxious, and how they interact with other animals or people. The more I know about your pet, the better I can tailor their care to keep them happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away.
A typical day
Throughout the day, I give lots of attention and companionship, making sure pets don’t feel lonely. I keep to their normal feeding and potty routines, and if they enjoy enrichment, I’ll add in fun activities like treat puzzles or extra cuddle time. In the evenings, I focus on winding down with calm play or snuggles so they feel happy, safe, and relaxed until their family returns.

Pet care experience
I hold a degree in Wildlife Conservation and Management and have hands-on experience working with a variety of animals, including reptiles, birds, rodents, and of course, cats and dogs. My background has given me a strong foundation in animal behavior, safe handling, and attentive care. I also previously volunteered at a cat rescue, where I helped with both routine care and medical tasks such as assisting with blood draws. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, exercise, or simply providing companionship, I bring a reliable and knowledgeable approach to caring for pets of all kinds

Reviews

Great service- my dog calm and relaxed after spending the weekend with Emely. We received updates and photos frequently. I will definitely use again.
Emely has been amazing help with my pet Labrador (Katrina) in the past. Over a roughly 4 month stent, she was readily available to assist me with daily tasks such as letting her out, boarding, walks, and feeding when I was unavailable due to work. Cannot recommend her enough.
