A typical day
I love taking dogs for long walks and jogs on safe paths and trails, provided they’re healthy and their owner is comfortable with it. For dogs staying at my place, I ensure they have a cozy bed and request a piece of fabric with their owner's scent to help them feel at home. I schedule bathroom breaks every 2 hours to keep them comfortable and serve lunch and snacks if it’s part of their routine.

I have always lived with horses, dogs, and cats in my home country, and I would love to continue spending time with pets here as well. I enjoy taking long walks—even in cold weather—and running outdoors, and I would be delighted to have a dog accompany me! I hold a master's degree in veterinary medicine from my home country and have experience caring for both large and small animals. While I periodically travel back to Europe, I am committed to spending quality time with pets when I am in DC, ensuring they get the exercise they need and recommending veterinary care when necessary. As a pet owner, I understand how crucial it is to choose the right pet sitter for the well-being of both pets and their families.

Emanuela took great care of Anne Shirley! I’m always a little nervous leaving her with anyone (even my own relatives) but felt super comfortable leaving her with Emanuela. She was quick to respond and provided updates throughout the day while I was at work. Definitely would use again!

Emanuela is fantastic with our pup! She and her whole family treat him like they are his own. While staying with Emanuela, Tyco gets a ton of exercise. He is excited when we arrive to her house. Emanuela is very easy to communicate with to arrange drop off/pick up times and sends updates through the day. Highly recommend!
