When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s home—I focus on maintaining their normal routine, comfort, and safety. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s established schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to minimize stress. I make sure fresh water is always available, keep food and living areas clean, and provide plenty of attention and companionship. I’m careful to follow all instructions regarding medications, training routines, and household rules, and I keep the home secure by locking doors, checking gates, and being mindful of the pet’s environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away. If caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I introduce pets slowly, supervise interactions, and ensure they have their own space for rest. I stick closely to the owner’s guidelines for feeding, exercise, and care, and I prioritize cleanliness, supervision, and positive reinforcement.
