When caring for pets—whether in my home or a client’s home—I focus on maintaining their normal routine, comfort, and safety. In a client’s home, I follow the pet’s established schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to minimize stress. I make sure fresh water is always available, keep food and living areas clean, and provide plenty of attention and companionship. I’m careful to follow all instructions regarding medications, training routines, and household rules, and I keep the home secure by locking doors, checking gates, and being mindful of the pet’s environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away. If caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I introduce pets slowly, supervise interactions, and ensure they have their own space for rest. I stick closely to the owner’s guidelines for feeding, exercise, and care, and I prioritize cleanliness, supervision, and positive reinforcement. Regardless of location, my goal is to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable, while giving owners confidence that their pets are in responsible, attentive hands.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I already structure my time around responsibility, consistency, and planning. I’m used to building my schedule around feeding times, walks, play, and check-ins, and I prioritize reliability so pets can maintain their normal routines. On a daily basis, I plan dedicated time for walks, exercise, feeding, and companionship, as well as cleaning bowls, litter boxes, or living areas as needed. Weekly, I’m attentive to things like grooming needs, restocking supplies, and monitoring any changes in behavior or health. I’m flexible and able to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s specific needs, whether that’s frequent potty breaks for puppies, medication schedules for senior pets, or extra playtime for high-energy animals. Because caring for others is already a big part of my life, pet care feels like a natural and rewarding extension of my routine rather than an interruption.
