I am currently a Veterinary Technician in a small private clinic that has very short hours. I rarely work more than 6 hours consecutively and am easily able to care for my own pets around this. I also have a partner at home who takes responsibility for my own pets when I am pet sitting, so my full attention will be caring for your babies!

For a clients fur babies, whether it be a dog or cat, I care for them just as their owners would do and want. This is what I’ve always done when dog sitting for my neighbors: staying in contact with the owners and listening to them to know what exactly their pets would need! NOTICE: For the safety of you, your pets, and myself, all initial communication with me must be done with through the rover app first. Also, my rates are set to what I am used to receiving in the past. If there is in issue with pricing, I am more than happy to discuss it and work something out that leaves us both stress-free!
Information Em P. would like to know about your pet
Knowing what foods your dog is strictly forbidden from having is important for me, just so I can be extra careful with their diet. Any medication requirements, anxiety triggers, or aggressive behavior is also something I would need to be notified on. I can still care for them- I'm not easily intimated by a dog's needs-I just need to be aware before I'm left alone with them.
A typical day
Typically, I like to walk dogs the most. I love the exercise and usually they do too. If it’s a senior dog, I spend most of the time petting them and making them comfortable. I’ve had many senior dogs in my own home over the years so I know the importance of making them feel loved.
