Hi there I'm Em (they/them)! I've been obsessed with dogs for most of my life and have been taking care of them since my sibling and I convinced my parents to adopt a puppy when I was very young. There's little I love more than getting to know the different personalities and quirks of animals and figuring out what makes them happy. As an assistant archivist I am very detail oriented, and as a runner and soccer player I am used to physical challenges and being outside in all types of weather. I am also queer friendly and covid cautious and would love nothing more than to care for your pet!

I live with a large, extremely friendly dog in a building which has a large fenced backyard. While I’m not offering boarding right now, I’m happy to host drop ins in the backyard if desired.
Ratings and reviews
This was our first time using Rover and our first time leaving our 9-week-old puppy, North, with someone who wasn't family. We were definitely a little nervous, but Em made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. Taking care of a 9-week-old puppy is no small task, and Em did an amazing job with North. We received updates throughout the day and knew he was in great hands. We've already booked recurring days with Em and highly recommend them!
Em was great with my dog while I was away for the weekend! I received updates and pictures while I was away and came back to a very happy pup!
Em was an incredible catsitter for our two cats, one of whom has developed a bit of anxiety in our two-week absence. Communication and problem solving were completely above and beyond.
Em is so great! They came to meet Shila a week before the stay, and Shila immediately loved Em. Em is communicative, timely, and very sweet. We definitely plan to use them again :)
Em watched Buster for a few days and we could tell he was is good hands while we were away. We appreciated the updates and pictures each day. We will definitely ask Em to watch Buster again!

Schedule
I work from home most of the time, so my schedule is very flexible. I do occasionally have to work in person in which case I am away 6-8 hours. I love taking breaks during work from home to walk or check in on pets and I am committed to keeping their routine consistent and free of stress.
