Friendly, experienced dog sitter, welcoming home
I have taken care of dogs for a number of years, most recently during lockdown taking on two dogs - a husky and springer spaniel - from an unwell family member. Since then, myself and my sisters have looked after over 50 dogs from day care to multiple weeks whilst their owners have been away. I have now moved out of my family home and wish to carry on the journey of looking after dogs in a safe, friendly environment that owners can trust. I have looked after puppy's from 12 weeks old to dogs in their later years and will ensure each one is treated superbly. I am kind, caring and compassionate, a huge animal lover and want to help out in any way that I am able to.

Elysia welcomed our Ko into her home as a part of her family. He stayed for a long stay over the holiday period. They were so kind, accommodating and helpful, They took such good care of him ; and communication was good. He came back looking really well, full of beans and happy as ever. I highly recommend . I would be very comfortable having our dog stay with them again. Thank you Elysia 🙏🏽

Sunny had a great time and he was very well looked after and fit right in. They were lovely and even accommodated a very last minute booking and we are so grateful! It is a lovely home with a lovely family and we would recommend to anyone!
Elysia and James were great. We have a 13 year old cockapoo and Elysia coped with his foibles. He tends not to eat much when we go away but she got him to eat more than other boarders, and gave him all his treats. She took him for good walks, kept us well informed during our short break and sent photos.
Thank you for having my pups, definitely will be calling you in the future. 5 stars 🌟

Schedule
I am a full time, primary school teacher, currently on maternity leave for the next year. I have a 4 week old baby but have a lot of experience with dogs. My weekly availability includes the weekends; I will try to ensure that I update my calendar to reflect days I’m not available. This includes multiples walks a day and ensuring that the dogs feel safe and happy in my care.

Safety, trust & environment
I own a semi-detached house with a medium sized, fenced garden. There are lots of local walks around. I am happy to let dogs on furniture, including the bed, and will let them decide where they feel most comfortable sleeping. There are no other pets in the home, although a visit from a friendly 8 year old springer spaniel can be on the cards! We have a new baby in the house born in July and so any dogs that come to our house will need to be friendly with children.
A typical day
I will ensure that any dog that comes into my care is treated exceptionally well. I will ensure that they are played with, both in the garden and in house, given plenty of attention and made to feel welcome and loved - just as if they were at home. I will ensure that regular walks are taken, there are some beautiful trails close by and lots of woodland area to explore with plenty of new smells and places to run!
