I run with dogs!
I've taken care of all types of dogs with all energy levels, and have been regularly dog sitting for friends and family for the last decade, and love doing it! I'm a very active person and am willing to take dogs on long walks, hikes or even runs, but also have a fenced in yard for dogs that prefer to stay close to home. I have a soft spot for older dogs, as I was the primary caregiver for my childhood dog that lived to be 16 years old. I've also gained a ton of experience with shy dogs during covid, as I foster failed with my current dog, who was a completely feral, terrified street dog. She is now a sweet pet who loves when other dogs come to visit!

Another seamless and lovely stay over for Tarot. Elyse is super easy to communicate with, and always on top of things. My dog was cozily waiting for me upon my return, as if I had never left. Thank you again, Elyse!
Elyse clearly loves dogs and is experienced. She was very patient w/ me as I gave her an abundance of detail about his likes and dislikes. Charlie clearly loved her big back yard and her comfy bed.

Schedule
I currently work from home, and can make time throughout the day for cuddles, walks and yard time with the pups in between work meetings.

Safety, trust & environment
My house is a safe environment for you pet. I make sure to do slow introductions with my dog and any new dogs coming into the house, and the dogs eat in separate rooms (no matter how well they get along). Yard time is always supervised.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day will include at least one long walk (depending on the needs of the dog), and several yard potty breaks throughout the day. In addition to plenty of cuddles, playing or couch time depending on what each dog enjoys.
