As someone who is home for the summer, I am working part time. However, I don’t do shifts more than four hours, making me extremely available for all animals and their needs.

I have a lot of respect for homes and pets of clients- I do everything while considering if I would want that done with my dogs. I try to spend as much time as I need with dogs, while spending as little time as I can in homes as to not overstay my welcome. I will listen and follow any rules you set, and you can ask me to do or not do anything and I will listen.

If your dog has any special behaviors that I should take into account, let me know! This could be things like certain tendencies towards strangers or other dogs, or even just preferences on how they spend their time. It would also be helpful to know if they have any dietary constraints so I can give them treats or food! (Of course treats and food only with owners approval :)
A typical day
With dogs, I love to take them on long walks, and if they play fetch I love fetch. I love hiking with dogs or taking them swimming, and I find that they enjoy it as much as I do! If the owner is okay with it, I also love to take them to dog parks and allow them to interact with other dogs. With cats, I love to just spend time with them and allow them to do whatever they feel comfortable with. If they enjoy playing, I’m happy to oblige. Just let me know if your dog or cat has any specific activities they love to do, and I will totally accommodate!

I've taken care of dogs since I was a young kid, taking care of my own dog. My first real sitting job was for a family with five (yes, five!) dogs, and I handled them with care and managed to bond with each of them, enough so that I've been asked back multiple times. I've recently sat for many others, and continue to take care of my own dogs, who are quite large and quite a handful. I am also a part of the Collar Scholars at CU Boulder, which works with service dogs to help raise and train them! I hope to raise a service dog next year even! I take all kinds of dogs, puppy through seniors, and even the biggest breeds you can imagine. I believe that with my experience, your pup and I will be a great match!
