We live in Tanner Plantation with our three cats and three dogs. As lifelong animal lovers and pet owners, we understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. Whether you have a playful pup or a shy cat, we'll provide loving, reliable care and keep you updated every step of the way. We've cared for pets with a wide range of medical needs, dietary restrictions, and unique routines. From administering medication and following specialized feeding protocols to accommodating quirky preferences, we're committed to providing the same attentive care your pets receive at home. I'll be handling most visits during the week, while my husband joins me for meet-and-greets and serves as a backup when needed. Together, we provide dependable care for both dogs and cats, treating every pet like a member of the family. Our retriever mix, Richie, has megaesophagus, myasthenia gravis, and cancer. He eats all of his meals in a Bailey chair (think doggy high chair!) and requires medication multiple times a day. Caring for Richie has made us highly attentive to health monitoring, medication schedules, and specialized feeding requirements. Our coonhound, Joanie, takes daily medication for anxiety, giving us experience providing calm, patient care for pets who need extra support. Our German Shepherd, Nami, reminds us that every pet has their own quirks. She refuses to eat breakfast anywhere but her kennel and insists on eating her afternoon meal in the office while listening to emo music. Yes, really! 🖤🎵🐶 We're also dedicated cat people and understand that cats often need a different approach than dogs: patience, respect for routines, and attention to subtle changes in behavior, appetite, and litter box habits. Belle, our orange tabby, is convinced she's one of the dogs, while Jane and Lizzie, our mischievous Oreo twins, keep life entertaining with their talent for stealing household items and hiding them in their favorite boxes. Living with three cats has taught us the importance of earning a cat's trust, respecting their boundaries, and maintaining the routines that help them feel safe and comfortable.
