As a third-year law student, I have a very flexible schedule this semester that allows me to provide reliable, attentive pet care. I don’t have classes on Mondays or Fridays, making long weekends and extended stays easy to accommodate. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, my classes are only in the afternoon and evening, leaving my mornings and much of the day open for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and companionship. Because my schedule is so flexible, I’m able to tailor my availability to each pet’s individual routine and needs. Whether your pet thrives on a consistent schedule, needs extra potty breaks, medication, exercise, or simply enjoys having someone nearby, I’m happy to adapt my day to ensure they receive the care, attention, and love they deserve.

I believe pets are happiest when they’re able to stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their normal routine. That’s why I prefer caring for pets in their familiar environment, where they feel safe, secure, and relaxed while you’re away. I take the time to get to know each pet’s unique personality, routine, and preferences so I can provide care that is tailored specifically to them. Whether that means sticking to a regular walking schedule, engaging in playtime, giving medication, or simply spending quality time cuddling on the couch, I am committed to making your pet feel loved and cared for. My goal is to give every pet plenty of individual attention. I don’t just stop by to complete a checklist. I want to spend meaningful time with each animal so they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for until you return home.

Every pet has their own personality, routines, and funny little quirks, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know them. Before each stay, I love learning about your pet’s favorite toys, treats, walking routes, nap spots, and any unique habits they have. Whether they need a bedtime routine, insist on carrying a favorite toy everywhere, prefer to eat with company, or have a special command or ritual, I want to know! My goal is to make their time with me feel as familiar and stress-free as possible by keeping their routine consistent and giving them care that’s tailored to who they are.
A typical day
I love making sure every pet has a fun, enriching experience while their family is away. Whether it’s a long walk around the neighborhood, a game of fetch in the backyard, interactive puzzle toys, or plenty of playtime with their favorite toys, I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. For cats, that might mean wand toy sessions, laser play, window watching, or simply spending quality time cuddling and keeping them company. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine while also getting extra attention and affection. Every visit is about more than meeting their basic needs. I make time for play, mental enrichment, and one-on-one companionship so they feel comfortable, engaged, and loved until their family returns.

Hi! I’m Elyse, a third-year law student with a flexible schedule this semester and plenty of time to spend caring for your pets. Whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, or simply keeping your furry friend company while I study, I’m happy to provide attentive, loving care tailored to their needs. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Today, I have both a dog and a cat of my own, giving me experience with pets of different personalities, routines, and care needs. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets, and I treat every animal as if they were part of my own family.
