Hi, I’m Elvie, a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mum to two French Bulldogs, George and Harry. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else because I’m exactly the same with my own boys. Every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel safe, happy and comfortable in my care. I have experience with nervous and anxious dogs and understand the importance of patience, consistency and building trust at their pace. Whether your dog loves long walks, gentle strolls, playtime or simply company and reassurance, I’ll tailor my care to suit them. Your dog will be treated like one of my own, with plenty of affection, attention and regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands. I offer dog walking, drop in visits and daycare in the Hornsey, Crouch End and surrounding areas, and I’d love to meet you and your furry family member.

I’ve been using Elvie for regular weekly walks with my Cockapoo puppy, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. My dog is full of energy, curious about everything, and can be quite a handful at times, but Elvie has always been patient, reliable, and confident with him. He absolutely loves seeing her and gets so excited when it’s time for his walk. After every walk, he comes home happy, content, and pleasantly tired, both physically and mentally. It’s clear that she doesn’t just walk him, she engages with him, pays attention to his needs, and makes sure he has a great experience. Communication has always been excellent, and I have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in safe and caring hands. What started as an occasional walk has become a regular weekly arrangement because we’ve been so pleased with the service. I would highly recommend Elvie to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and genuinely passionate about dogs.

Schedule
I work as a freelance hairstylist, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to offer dog walking, drop in visits, day care and boarding throughout the week and at weekends. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and my long term goal is to build my own pet care business. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone reliable, trustworthy and caring to look after your pets.

My home is secure and pet-friendly, with a gated garden that provides a safe space for dogs to play. I also have two French Bulldogs who are super friendly with other dogs and love having new friends around. I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise and will work closely with you to tailor their care to their specific needs, ensuring they’re happy and well looked after while they’re with me.

A typical day with me is tailored to your pet’s individual needs and routine. Whether they enjoy long walks, gentle strolls, playtime, mental enrichment, or simply lots of company and cuddles, I’ll make sure they’re happy, comfortable and well cared for. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll follow your instructions closely, from feeding routines and favourite treats to exercise levels and any special requirements. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is being cared for exactly as you would care for them yourself. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed, safe and content, and for you to have complete peace of mind while you’re away.
