Dogs are my best friends!
After taking some time away from pet sitting, I recently moved back home and knew I wanted to start doing something I genuinely missed and loved — caring for animals! I’ve always had a special connection with dogs and love how much personality and emotion they’re able to express without saying a word. I have years of experience caring for my own pets as well as pets through Rover, and I understand how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your furry family member. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual personality, routine, feeding schedule, potty needs, energy level, and any special care they may require. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or would rather cuddle up and get belly rubs, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while they’re with me. I’m patient, affectionate, responsible, and always pay close attention to changes in behavior or anything that seems out of the ordinary. After all, they’re family members, too, and they deserve all the love, attention, and care we can give them. I’ll treat your pet with the same kindness and care I would want someone to give my own!

Elva was amazing with our pups. We have one shy dog and she was great with her, our pup warmed up instantly! Would definitely have her pet sit again:)
So glad our dog was able to stay with Elva for a weekend! Elva was really good about keeping us updated on our pup, which was especially needed after our dog experienced some last-minute health issues right before drop-off. As usual, Elva respected all of our requests and our dog’s needs. Our dog came home very happy and healthy.
Elva is the best! We had her come in for a few days to help our dog get used to our new apartment while we were at work. It was clear that our dog loved her right away, which is rare for how timid he is. He loved her company and looked forward to her arriving every morning. Elva was very mindful of our dog’s needs as well as our requests. She was also great at sending updates and pictures so that we wouldn’t need to worry. Looking forward to having Elva watch Ralph again!
Elva was such a wonderful dog sitter! She met with me and my dogs before we left for our trip and was so sweet with the pups throughout their stay with her. She was wonderful about sending pictures frequently to update me on how they were doing, and asked questions if she had any concerns. When I picked them up, I could tell they had been well cared for and received a lot of love, attention, and exercise. I will definitely re-book with Elva the next time I go out of town.
Elva took fabulous care of our two dogs at our home when we were away. She sent a number of photo updates and let us know how they were getting along. Very trustworthy and would have her sit our dogs again the next time we need a sitter. Thanks again!

A typical day
I live in a safe and friendly neighborhood and away from busy intersections/streets. I also have a close park for your dog to run and and gets it daily grass rub, tag, (I can be ‘it’ of course) and fetch. With your permission, I can also drive to my nearby dog park that has two fenced areas for big dogs and small dogs. I can also drive your dog to the local dog store to buy him/her some baked goodies.
