Hi, I’m Elsie! I’m a huge animal lover with over two years of experience working as a receptionist in a busy veterinary practice. My role gave me a great understanding of pet health, behaviour and the importance of keeping animals calm, comfortable and well cared for and completed many courses to help develop my knowledge in these areas of animal care. It also confirmed that I wanted animals to remain a big part of my life! I have three pets of my own who mean the world to me, so I completely understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family member! I’ll always treat your pet with the same love, patience and attention that I give my own. I now work remotely, which gives me plenty of flexibility and means pets receive lots of company throughout the day rather than being left alone. I can help with dog walking, drop in visits, daycare or overnight care, I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. During visits I can provide feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, walks, plenty of fuss and regular photo updates, so you’ll always know how they’re getting on. Dog walks can be tailored to your pet’s age, energy levels and routine, whether they prefer a gentle 30 minute stroll or a longer adventure. Every pet has a different personality, and I’m happy to adapt my approach to suit them, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior or just need a little extra reassurance. Thanks to my veterinary background, I’m also confident recognising if something doesn’t seem quite right and would contact you immediately while seeking veterinary advice if needed. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet and provide them with a safe, caring and happy home away from home.

Your pet’s safety and happiness will always be my top priority. Having worked in a veterinary practice for over two years, I’m confident recognising when something isn’t quite right and know how important it is to stay calm and communicate with owners. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule and any instructions carefully. I live in a clean, calm home and will make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved and well cared for. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.

Elsie did a great job looking after our at Muffin at quite short notice. Muffin was very happy when we got back after lots of food, outdoors time and cuddles!
Elsie has looked after our 10 year old dog Woody regularly since he was a puppy. Firstly he adores her (as does she him) She is our ‘go to’ if we need doggy day care / walks and holiday care. I can’t recommend her highly enough as a dog / pet sitter. She is also responsible, honest and kind.
Elsie is such a lovely person and absolutely amazing with animals. She has so much knowledge and experience, along with such a kind and caring nature. I would highly recommend her for dog or cat sitting. My little sausage dog absolutely adores Elsie and is always so happy to see her!

Schedule
I work remotely from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet care into my day. One of the things I missed most after leaving my role at a veterinary practice was being around animals, so pet sitting is the perfect way for me to continue doing something I genuinely love. Because I work from home, I can provide lots of companionship, regular toilet breaks, playtime, walks and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine and can be flexible with drop off, pick up and visit times where possible.
