Hi there! I’m Else, a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and needs. I grew up surrounded by Golden Retrievers, senior cats, and adopted pups—including my sweet golden girl Ember (7), my senior tabby Bert (14), and a tiny blind, deaf rescue dog. Though they’re now with my family up north in Delaware, I miss them every day and would love to share that care with your furry family here in Mount Pleasant. Whether your pet is high-energy, elderly, has special needs, or just needs a little extra TLC, I’m here to help. I’m a recent post-grad looking to earn extra income doing what I genuinely love—spending time with animals. Let’s chat—I’d love to meet your pet!

I only care for pets in their own home, where they feel most safe and comfortable. I follow your care instructions closely and always prioritize your pet’s well-being. If your dog is car-friendly, I’m happy to take them for walks in your neighborhood or even on fun outings to the beach (with your permission and permits, of course!).

Else is very responsible and reliable. She cared for our senior cat and 2 dogs (14 yo mixed breed and 7 yo golden) and was wonderful. We will use her again to care for our fur babies!

Schedule
I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available most mornings and afternoons during the week, and I’m fully open on weekends/getaways.

I have experience with senior pets, blind/deaf dogs, and cats with arthritis and gum disease, so I’m comfortable adjusting care for special needs. Knowing your pet’s personality and routine helps me make them feel safe, happy, and at home while you’re away.
