Pet care experience

A loving home while you're away 🐶

Hi there! I'm Elsa, a 32-year-old Mexican-German who has recently moved to London from Berlin. While I'm settling into the city, I'd love to spend some time caring for your dog. 🧡 I've been around dogs my whole life and have over 20 years of experience caring for them, including 13 wonderful years with my own dog, Polo. I'm comfortable looking after dogs of all sizes and personalities, including senior dogs and those who need medication or a little extra care. I know every dog is different, and that great care takes patience, flexibility, consistency, and lots of love. Sadly, Polo recently passed away, so I know just how much our dogs mean to us. Being around another dog would honestly help make this new city and new routine feel a little less lonely without him. I'll care for yours as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I have a spacious home and lovely parks nearby for walks. Haggerston Park is just a 5-minute walk from my home, London Fields is only 15 minutes away. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, or just a cosy companion, I’ll happily adapt to their routine. If they’re energetic, I’d love for them to help me explore more of London. If they’re more of a sofa-and-snuggles kind of dog, they’ll be the perfect company while I’m writing my thesis. I'd love to meet you and your furry companion!

Elsa was a great dog sitter for our dog, Magi. It was very easy to communicate with her, and she made sure we were always updated and felt confident Magi was in the right hands. We will definitely recommend Elsa.

Elsa took great care of Toshi while I was away for 4 days. Communication and handover arrangements were really easy, and Elsa sent regular updates and photos of Toshi. Highly recommended!

Elsa took the best care of our boy for two days. She is a lovely person and clearly loves dogs very much! Being a greyhound, he has a few quirks and she was so accommodating of him. She followed our instructions about his schedule perfectly, including short walks and giving him his medication 3x a day. Elsa sent us lots of photos & videos so we knew he was settled in and well taken care of. We would not hesitate to recommend Elsa for the best care & hope Manu can stay again :)

Doggy Day Care • Jul 15, 2026

Elsa has been fantastic with my youngster Bertie. She helped me out short notice in a pinch and kept me up to date during the day. He came back happy as Larry and clearly had a fun day. He’s already looking forward to the next stay ☺️

Elsa is a dog lover to her core! Our dog, Juno, was recovering from a knee operation and was also experiencing a lot of anxiety at the time. So naturally, we were worried about finding someone who could look after her to the same standard that we did. However, we truly met our match in Elsa! Elsa has experience with owning a dog that had lots of needs, including knee surgeries, so we knew Juno was being left in great hands! We met up the day before so Juno and Elsa could meet before her stay. Elsa has a really calm and warm energy, which, for our anxious dog, was perfect. After that first meetup, we felt at ease with the idea of leaving Juno in her care. Throughout the boarding, we were updated with photos, videos and messages. Juno was given medication, taken on her restricted walks and even got to sleep in the bed! When we went to collect her the following day, we could see that absolutely every treat and toy had been enjoyed. Success!! We highly recommend Elsa!! Whether your pet is healthy, recovering or living with ailments, Elsa would take wonderful care of them. This app is full of dog lovers, but there is a big difference between someone who wants to hang out with a dog and someone who is happy to take over the responsibility of caring for a poorly dog. Which is why I will end this with how I started, Elsa is a dog lover to her core!

I’ve known Elsa for around 15 years now and she has always been loving and caring for pets and animals. In fact, she cares so much that she became an animal rights activist around 7 years ago. Elsa has a very big heart for doggos and I’ve seen how she cares for them, always making sure they are loved, happy and comfortable. Elsa and Paul are great pet owners and carers alike and any dog under their care will be very happy in their family.

Schedule

I’m currently finishing my Master’s thesis, so I spend most of my time working from home or from a nearby café. This means pet care fits very naturally into my routine, and your dog will have plenty of attention, company, and flexibility throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a safe, comfortable home with a fenced yard, and I live close to several green areas and parks for walks. I don’t live with any other dogs, so your dog would have a calm environment and my full attention. Before caring for your dog, I’ll always make sure to understand their routine, personality, needs, and any special care instructions.

A typical day

I can take your dog for 3–4 walks a day, depending on their needs and energy levels. We can also play, practise simple tricks, or work on potty training if needed. I’ll always adapt the day to your dog’s personality and routine.
