I’m currently self employed in an artistic field. That means I get to set my own schedule, and my hours are extremely flexible. I can do mornings, afternoons, evenings, or nights, seven days a week.

I treat every pet I watch with the same care I give to my own, but I also understand that each animal is different and I adjust my tactics for their individual personality.

Let me know ahead of time if your furry friend is on any medications, or if they have any special needs I should be aware of. For big dogs, please also give me a heads up if they tend to pull on the leash on walks.
A typical day
A typical drop in visit involves feeding according to instructions, checking water bowls and refilling if necessary, potty breaks for dogs, scooping litter boxes as needed, and cleaning up any accidents. After that's all taken care of, we have some play time for the higher energy animals, scritches and cuddles for the lower energy ones. I am fully vaccinated and COVID-conscious.

Pet care experience
I have experience with pets of all ages, from week-old kittens to ancient senior dogs. I have a beautiful eleven year old black cat who has struggled with chronic recurring health problems for most of his life. Because of his extensive history of medical problems, I'm quite comfortable giving oral medications in various forms to both cats and dogs. I'm also happy to apply ointments, trim nails, and do minor wound care.

Elsa continues to take such good care of my cats Ricky & Lucy. She uses good judgment, anticipating issues and problems. This last time, as the electricity had been off in the area, Elsa anticipated that the water fountain may not work, and left a bowl of additional water for Ricky & Lucy. I love the daily pictures with her engaging with both cats. They don’t even miss me!
