Your Pet’s New Favorite Auntie!
I’m a firm believer that pets are family, and while you’re away, I’m happy to step in as their temporary favorite auntie. Whether your dog wants adventure, belly rubs, and someone to enthusiastically admire their favorite toy, or your cat prefers to conduct a thorough background check before allowing me within six feet of them, I’m here for it! I love getting to know each pet’s individual personality and keeping their normal routines as consistent as possible. I’ll take care of the practical things: feeding, walks, potty breaks, litter boxes, medications, and whatever else your pet needs. But I’m also there for the important stuff: playtime, cuddles (when invited!), enrichment, and plenty of reassuring attention. And of course, you’ll get photos and updates so you can see that your little one is happy, safe, and being at least a little spoiled. 😉 My goal is for your pets to feel like you never really left, and for you to enjoy your time away knowing they’re in good hands.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pets’ safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I’m careful about doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could help keep your pet secure, and I follow your instructions and routines closely. During visits and overnight stays, I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, or anything else that seems unusual, and I’ll communicate with you if I have any concerns. When staying in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m mindful of keeping doors locked, keeping your pets safely indoors, and leaving things clean and just as I found them. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you never have to wonder how things are going. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pets and your home are in thoughtful, trustworthy hands.

Eloise is the most caring, responsible and dependable person we have ever had care for our kitties. She literally goes the extra mile by not only spending quality time with our cats, but she makes our home so comfortable to come back to, by having everything clean. She gives us brief updates and photos while we’re away, which we love. Her communication is incredible and she always responds promptly to any text or call. Her quality care puts us at ease while we’re away. We honestly feel spoiled having her, and we trust her completely with our kitties and our home.
Eloise has cared for our two Basset Hounds for over two years and is always our number one go-to person. Our dogs absolutely love her and are always happy and well cared for. Both require daily medication, which she reliably administers. One of our dogs also has a difficult personality, and Eloise handles his quirks with patience and confidence. She gives them tons of love and attention, and we trust her completely. We can’t recommend her enough!

Schedule
I work during the week, but I’m fortunate to have a schedule that allows me to spend time with your pets throughout the day. I’m happy to start the morning with them, stop by during my lunch break for some attention and a potty break or litter check, and come back in the evening for dinner, playtime, walks, and cuddles. On weekends, I have considerably more flexibility and love nothing more than settling in for a longer visit, a lazy afternoon, or some extra snuggle time. I’m also happy to stay overnight in your home, which can be a wonderful option for pets who are happiest in their own familiar surroundings. I’ll be there for their evening routine, overnight company, and morning routine, while keeping things as close to their normal schedule as possible. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in, several visits throughout the day, or a cozy overnight stay, I’m happy to find the arrangement that gives both you and your pet the most peace of mind.

- Before I care for your pets, I’d love to know all the little details that make them them! Please let me know about their normal feeding, bathroom, exercise, sleep, and medication routines, as well as any quirks, fears, favorite activities, or things they don’t enjoy. It’s also helpful to know how they typically behave when left alone, how they interact with other people or animals, and anything I should watch for with their health or behavior. For dogs, I’d like to know their leash habits, recall, and any important walking preferences. For cats, I’d love to know their litter box routine, hiding spots, favorite places to nap, and whether they prefer affection or a little space. For overnight stays, I’ll also want to know anything important about your home: how to arm/disarm alarms, where supplies are kept, which areas are off-limits, how you’d like things handled while I’m there, and who to contact in case of an emergency. Most importantly, please feel free to tell me anything you think I should know, even if it seems small or silly. Those little details often make the biggest difference in helping your pet feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away!
