What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for pets with different needs every day. I share my home with a dachshund and a cat, so I understand the importance of providing loving, attentive care tailored to each animal’s personality. I also help care for my son’s service dog, including daily walks and maintaining the routine and discipline that are essential for a working dog. This has given me valuable experience in consistency, positive reinforcement, and understanding how important structure is for a dog’s wellbeing. Schedule
I work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide pet care during the week and on weekends. I am available for daytime visits, walks, and drop-in care, and can often accommodate different schedules. I understand the importance of maintaining your pet’s routine and will provide reliable, consistent care to help them feel comfortable and happy while you’re away. Please note that I do not offer overnight sitting.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel secure and relaxed in a familiar environment. For cats, I make sure their environment is calm, safe, and stress-free. I pay close attention to details such as secure doors and windows, litter tray cleanliness, fresh water, and feeding routines. I also take time to read their behaviour and body language so I can interact with them in a way that builds trust and helps them feel comfortable during my visits. For walks, I ensure dogs are always safely leashed and walked in appropriate areas, paying close attention to their behaviour, surroundings, and individual needs. I have experience with maintaining routine and consistency through caring for a service dog, so I understand the importance of structure, patience, and positive reinforcement. I will treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect, providing regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
