I work Monday through Friday. I can visit a pet during my lunch break, but otherwise am only available outside of my work hours, 8-5 Monday through Thursday, and 8-12 on Fridays. I may need to work late some days.

I will only care for pets in their own homes. I find it tends to be less disruptive, and I also live in a very small space without a yard. I have a calm presence, but if doing multiple day care or staying in your home, I strongly recommend I come to meet and greet your pet first so they aren't facing a stranger when I come to care for them. I believe in positive reinforcement per best modern animal handling and don't hit, yell at, or scold animals.

I would like to know if there's anything your pet particularly enjoys--for example, my dog loved to swim, so I liked to take her to the beach! Anything that has to do with health or trauma is also important, dietary restrictions, etc etc. Every critter is special, so let me know what's special about yours!
A typical day
We'll go on long walks in your neighborhood or mine, play fetch or other games, and make time for plenty of petting! I'm also happy to work on trick training or behavior that your dog or cat needs assistance with.

Hi! I'm a Washington native with lots of experience house and dog sitting. I've recently moved to Enumclaw to be closer to my work as a veterinary assistant. I have some perks and drawbacks. Perk: I'm very good with animals, and am used to all sorts of antics and medications. Drawback: I work during the week and am not free to stay with your pet the whole day. If that is fine by you, feel free to get in touch! I'm fond of dogs of all shapes and sizes, and have sat every breed, from pugs to rottweilers. Puppies don't scare me, and I love hanging out with mellow older pups too. Dogs aren't my only forte, as I also do cats, fish,chickens, horses, plants, and sugar gliders among other critters! I currently have two cats, who are wonderful, but require me to know about visits well ahead of time so that I can arrange care for them. I have no allergies and love pets of all kinds--scales, fur, or feathers.

Ellyse made us feel so comfortable during our time away from our kitties! Her check-ins were informative and the pictures were really cute and fun, you could tell they were being well cared for. During the meet and greet she was attentive and knowledgeable about cat behavior and care. We will definitely request her for future bookings!
