Your Dog's New Favorite Human
I've been obsessed with dogs for as long as I can remember, just ask anyone who follows me on social media - LOL. I grew up with two dogs who I consider my own (sadly they live with my parents still), so I know firsthand that pets aren't just pets - they're family. I recently moved to NYC and one of the things I miss most is being surrounded by dogs all the time, which is a big reason I love dog walking and pet sitting. I'm also super active, so whether your dog is looking for a leisurely stroll, a long walk to burn off energy, or an adventure buddy, I'm all in. Since I work fully remote, my schedule is incredibly flexible and allows me to give dogs the time, attention, and companionship they deserve throughout the day. I'm the type of person who will learn your dog's favorite route, remember their quirks, celebrate their zoomies, and send you way too many cute photos. My goal is simple: make sure your dog is happy, safe, loved, and excited to see me again. Also, maybe cure my homesickness as well :)

I live in a pet-friendly NYC apartment (there are three other dogs in my building!) and keep a clean, calm environment for dogs to feel comfortable. I make sure pets are always supervised, get plenty of exercise and attention, and have a safe space to relax. I'm also very mindful of leash safety, building entry/exit, and each dog's individual routine and needs.
Ratings and reviews
Ellison was happy to accommodate my slightly unusual request, seeing as Meg is blind and doesn’t need a full 30-mins of walking. She was more than willing to let Meg out for a potty break and spend a little time with her at home inside the 30 minute walking window. I also appreciated that she was able to stop by ahead of time so I could quickly show her the usual routine and allow Meg to sniff her to get familiar before she came over for the walks that were scheduled.
Ellie has been helping our family for years. We have relied on her for pet sitting, house sitting and helping with our daughters. She has always been our number one go-to person, as she is dependable, kind and always goes above and beyond. If she had not moved, we would still be depending on her. Any family would be lucky to have Ellie!
I have known Ellison for most of her life and can attest to her integrity and love for animals. Not only is she a dear friend, but she has helped me with my cats many times and is always on time and responsible with locking the doors and completing the pet care tasks. She is fun and will certainly love on any pets that she is assigned to. I highly recommend her for the Rover team.
Ellie is one of our top two favorite pet, kid, and house sitters! She is very responsible and has a great attention to detail when caring for our dogs, Zeus and Sparky. She not only follows the details that are important to us (giving medication, closing certain doors, etc) but also notices additional things that help make our dogs feel more comfortable and loved in our absence. This has shown up with walking them separately (if needed), ensuring they have their own toys that they each prefer, and even letting one sleep with her during a thunderstorm. She has a great energy that our dogs (and our family) enjoy being around. Any pet and their pet family would be lucky to have her!
I have used Ellison several times as a care taker for my dog while I am away. She is the most dog-loving person I know and has always had a natural connection with animals. Dogs instantly warm up to her, and she treats every pet with genuine care, patience, and affection. Any dog would be lucky to spend time with her.
I can give a great review.. Ellie has helped with all of our dogs, and I can a review without hesitation. Ellie has been dependable and attentive. She has always been on time and always cared for our dogs and treated them and our homes with respect and care. Ellie has helped us in many different jobs she has always been a pleasure to be around and is always positive and friendly. A breath of fresh air and helpful in so many ways. No hesitation in hiring Ellie!

Schedule
As I said I work fully remote, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day. My workday typically starts at 10 AM (with the occasional earlier meeting), so I'm often available for morning walks and visits. I also have flexibility during lunch for midday potty breaks, walks, or check-ins, and I generally finish work around 4:30 PM, sometimes even earlier. Whether you need help before work, during the day, or in the evening, I'm happy to work with your dog's routine and provide reliable, attentive care when you need it most.
