I am currently on staff at my church right now as outreach and ministry team so my times I am unavailable are Tuesday's, Thursday's, and Friday's after 5:00pm. I go to church on Sunday mornings but I can always watch virtually so I can tend to pets overnight.

I care for animals as I would care for myself I believe in all life is precious and that any life created is family to me which most certainly includes pets. My approach comes from being gentle, reacting/reading body language, minding my emotions and actions because animals are sensitive to those, and just showering them with love the way THEY want to receive it not how I want to give it. It is their comfort and wellbeing over mine and I will do everything in my power to ensure a healthy environment for everybody's animals.

Pet care experience
I love animals, I have since as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in an animal household so understanding animals, communicating with them, and tending to them has become second nature. I have pet sat and helped handle animals at the Nashville Zoo as a volunteer during my high school years and have watched over friends, family, and neighbors animals for around a decade now. I know how important family is and how pets are family that just so happens to walk on four legs for all of their lives instead of just their infant years.

Elliott watched our cat Valentine for 2 weeks and I couldn't be happier with the relationship he formed with him. I am always a little nervous leaving for such an extended time, as he's historically skittish & hides when most people come around the house. But Elliott has a gift for 'the language of cat' and within a matter of days, Valentine was snuggling on the couch with him. He asked me all the right questions upon our initial meeting (what he was expected to do during his pet/housesitting stay & what was considered normal vs unusual behavior for Valentine, etc). He sent me lots of updates and pictures, which allowed us to truly relax during our vacation. Highly recommend!
I've known Elliott his entire life, and he has always been a responsible and loving pet owner and caregiver. He has been trusted from a young age to care for his own pets (dogs, chickens and rabbits); he has also been hired to pet sit for families with dogs and cats, as well as a family with a small farm that includes dogs, chickens, goats, cats and rabbits. He has also worked as a zoo volunteer which included animal care duties. Elliott is dependable, always on time, and extremely loving with animals.
