I hold a Level 1 Certificate in Animal Management and Wellbeing, giving me a solid understanding of animal behaviour, health, welfare, and care standards. I further developed my practical skills volunteering at a busy doggy daycare and training centre, where I worked alongside dogs of all ages, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. This experience taught me how to adapt my care to suit every individual, whether that means handling high‑energy working breeds, supporting nervous or rescue dogs, or caring for older pets with specific needs. My experience isn’t just professional — I have owned and raised two very different breeds myself: a Husky and a Labrador. This has given me first‑hand insight into the varying requirements, behaviours, and exercise needs of different dogs, and I understand exactly how important routine, safety, and affection are to their wellbeing.
