Pet care experience

Exclusive countryside dog boarding✨

We are a husband and wife team of dedicated, experienced dog carers offering a calm, home based boarding environment in our countryside farmhouse setting. We provide exclusive, one household at a time care, meaning your dog(s) will never be mixed with other clients’ pets and will receive our full attention throughout their stay. Having previously lost our own much loved dog, we understand how important trust, routine, and emotional reassurance are when leaving a pet in someone else’s care. Every dog is treated as part of our home, with genuine care, patience, and attention to their individual personality and needs. We are fully insured, DBS checked, and experienced with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and care requirements.

Ellie and her partner looked after Iris so well again. I always feel very comfortable that she is going to be fine and have no worries. Would highly recommend!

Ellie is lovely and I felt instantly comfortable about booking her after meeting her for the first time. We arrived home to find our cat happy, well fed and with a clean litter tray. She even took the bin out for us on bin day! Thank you 😊

We really couldn’t be happier with Boo’s recent stay with Ellie. It was lovely to receive updates and photos throughout her stay, and so reassuring to know she was in such good hands. As an older dog, it meant a lot to know Boo’s needs were so well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave her with Ellie again.

Ellie was amazing with my two boy cats and even got the really shy one to interact and feel comfortable. It was his first experience with a cat sitter. She was prompt, kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend her and will be booking with her again. (Thanks, Ellie! You are amazing!)

This is Arthur’s first time staying away and Ellie and Adis made him feel right at home with lovely long walks and lots of cuddles. Great communication and reassurance throughout his stay which was fantastic.

Schedule

Each dog staying with us is welcomed into a calm, structured home environment where they are treated as part of the family, not as a visiting guest among many. We only ever care for one household at a time, meaning your dog(s) receive our full attention, companionship, and supervision throughout their stay. There are no long periods of being left alone, and our home is intentionally organised so that dogs feel settled, loved, and secure with us. A typical day is gently structured around your dog’s needs and comfort, and may include: ✨A relaxed morning countryside walk through local fields or nature routes ✨Time spent together in the home, with rest and cuddles throughout the day ✨Free access to a secure, enclosed garden for fresh air and outdoor time ✨An afternoon walk exploring the local countryside or nearby reserves, and a trip to the pet shop for a tasty treat ✨Evening wind down in a calm home setting, mirroring their normal routine as closely as possible For dogs who benefit from additional presence or reassurance, we also offer an enhanced supervision option, providing more continuous companionship and tailored support throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are at the heart of everything we do. We welcome dogs into our countryside farmhouse home, where they are treated as part of the family and given a calm, settled environment to relax and feel at ease. Above all, we want every dog to feel safe, understood, and completely at home with us while you’re away 🐾

A typical day

Life here is calm, relaxed, and centred entirely around the dogs in our care. Because we only ever look after one household at a time, your dog becomes part of our home life and is treated like one of the family throughout their stay. We like to think of it as a little holiday for your dog while you’re away — full of comfort, countryside walks, and lots of love. Days usually include gentle morning and afternoon walks through local fields, woodlands, or nature spots, alongside plenty of time at home to rest, relax, and be part of daily life in a calm environment. We also enjoy making their stay special with little outings such as trips to the pet shop for treats or toys (with your permission), adding to their “holiday experience”. Days out to the beach, pup cups, and dog friendly spots. You’ll receive regular updates, including photos and videos, so you can follow along with your dog’s stay and enjoy their time away.

Before your dogs stay we ask that you share any important details about their health, behaviour, routines or anxieties so that we can fully understand them. This helps us ensure we can provide the right care, and a calm, comfortable environment for them. We are happy to accommodate most dogs, but we want to ensure each stay is a good fit for our home so every dog can have a safe, settled and enjoyable experience with us.
