I’ve owned and cared for dogs for over 25 years and have always had dogs as part of my family. I’ve also volunteered with the Animal Rescue League, where I gained hands-on experience walking and caring for dogs with a wide variety of backgrounds, personalities, and temperaments. This experience has taught me how important it is to approach each dog individually, pay attention to their body language, and help them feel safe and comfortable. I’m confident caring for dogs with different energy levels and needs, whether that means walks, playtime, companionship, or simply giving them a calm and loving environment.

I had a lot of guilt about leaving my dogs but Ellie was very good at communication prior to our booking and drop off went so well that all that guit went away. The house and yard were very dog friendly, Ellie’s calm personality put the dogs at easy, she communicated through our there stay and sent great photos. She went far beyond what was expected and caught a health issue one of the dogs was experiencing. I can not say enough good things!
Ellie is one of the 2 people on earth whom I trust to watch my dogs. She loves and treats every pup as if it were her own. My girls feel at home at Ellie's house and I feel relieved when I'm away because I know that they're getting lots of snuggles and attention.
Both Ellie and her dogs are super sweet! I had a last minute emergency that required me to go out of town unexpectedly. The fact that Ellie was willing to let my baby girl puppy stay with her on such short notice was a blessing. When I dropped my puppy off, Ellie made me feel very comfortable with my decision to leave my puppy. Her house is set up perfectly for dogs. With a fenced in back yard, dog beds and toys, I knew my pup would feel cozy. My puppy was also on medication at the time and Ellie was willing to assist with that. She sent me updates frequently and it eased my mind tremendously. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Ellie!
I have known Ellie for about a year now. She has watched both of my dogs for me. I was really anxious about finding someone that I could trust with my dogs because they are like children to me. When I first went to Ellie's house, I noticed that she had a fenced in yard in both the back and front. One of my dogs likes to dart out the door, so the fact that there was fencing all around was very comforting to me. She allowed me to tour her home and it was really clean and organized. Her dogs are very sweet and greeted me and my dogs with love. Ellie is now my go-to sitter.
Ellie has watched my puppy multiple times while I've been on vacation or traveling for work. She always come home with a "smile" and very clean. She sends photos of my pup daily and tells me about the day. Her home is always super clean. I've never once worried about leaving my puppy at her house. It makes for a super relaxed vacation.

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule and am home most of the day, so your pet will get plenty of attention and companionship. I’m typically only away for short periods, such as a morning workout class. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of one-on-one attention throughout the day.

As a dog mom myself, I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your pet. I provide a safe, loving environment and will follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and experience caring for dogs with a variety of personalities and temperaments. I’m also happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. 🐾

A typical day
I love keeping dogs both physically and mentally engaged while also giving them plenty of time to relax. Depending on your dog’s needs and energy level, our day might include neighborhood walks, exploring the nearby park, playing in the fenced yard, toys and games, cuddles, and lots of attention. I’ll adjust our activities to what your dog enjoys and is accustomed to at home.
