At this time, I’m unable to board pets in my home, but I’m very confident handling animals in their own environments and out in public settings. One of my biggest strengths is being able to read animal body language and “read the room” with pets quickly. I pay close attention to their comfort level, energy, stress signals, and behavior so I can keep them safe and make sure they feel secure and understood. Because I’ve worked with animals ranging from very small pets to large horses, I understand that different animals require different types of care, attention, and handling styles. I adapt my approach based on each pet’s size, personality, and individual needs. Building trust and positive relationships with animals is one of my favorite parts of pet care, and safety is always my top priority.

It’s always super helpful to know some basic information before a pet visit such as any allergies, triggers/reactivity, medical needs, or unusual behaviors I should be aware of. The more I know upfront, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for!
A typical day
I love incorporating light training into walks and pet visits when appropriate! Mental stimulation and problem solving are super enriching for dogs and can help them feel more fulfilled and relaxed. I live a very active lifestyle as well, so I’m always happy to match your pet’s energy level whether that means a calm stroll or a more active adventure.

Pet care experience
I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, and caring for them has been a lifelong passion of mine. I have experience handling pets of all personalities, from energetic and playful to shy and anxious. Over the years, I’ve cared for animals of many sizes, including large dogs and horses, and have worked with animals through grooming, training, pet care, and even volunteering with lions and tigers for a year! I’m currently finishing my final year of graduate school and looking for flexible summer work doing something I enjoy! As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I promise to treat your fur babies with the same love, attention, and care I give my own!💗💗

Ellie was phenomenal sitter! She took such great care of our pup. She even taught her some tricks and exercises we had not thought of ourselves. We cannot recommend her more highly!
Ellie is incredible! She was so good with my two boy dogs and her communication was spot on! She is so attentive and kind along with professional! She constantly sent me pictures and updates! She followed all of my care instructions to a T and I will definitely be utilizing her service services going forward! I can’t recommend her enough. She really cares about animals. Also, she left my home perfectly tidy! :)
I am very happy with booking Ellie for overnight stays at my house this past weekend. She was so nice, very responsive and professional. She sent updates and doggie pictures daily. My dogs look SO HAPPY during the stay. And my house was nice and tidy upon my return. I would definitely book Ellie again and recommend her to other pet parents.
