I keep relatively busy as a part time student employed part time but ensure I never commit to pet care without assurance I can be there for your baby when I’m needed.

About Ellie N.
Safety, trust & environment
Being away from family is never fun, and I understand the anxiety it causes many pets for you to be away from them. With this knowledge, I follow the animal’s lead when it comes to my approach and use positive reinforcement to strengthen our relationship as I take care of them. In boarding, animals are kept separate from my personal cat but she does have a disability that limits her mobility so I require all dogs in my home to be cat friendly in case of accidental meets.
Home
Information Ellie N. would like to know about your pet
I am accommodated for the vast majority of behavioral/special needs and medical care, but do require prefacing of exact needs before I begin care. All animals must be up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you are unsure if your pet is up to date on everything, shoot me a message and we can go over it! For boarding, I keep all pets separate from mine but require dogs in my home be cat friendly/neutral in case of accidental meets.
A typical day
I check in on any dog or cat I am watching a minimum of 3-4 times a day, providing full walks for dogs based on their energy needs, taking treats and/or toys with us as needed. I also recognize the importance of playtime for all animals and make sure to implement that into their daily routine.

Pet care experience
Hey there! 4 years of employment in animal rescue and 12 years of volunteer work has made me well acquainted with critters of all sizes and breeds, with all kinds of special needs. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve had reptiles, bunnies, and rodents as personal pets and have experience caring for wildlife and farm animals as well. Over the past 5 years, I’ve fostered more than 50 animals, training the majority of them myself and administering all medical care (including hospice) aside from surgery. If you choose my services, I can guarantee your pets will be well taken care of and provided with enrichment while you’re gone!
