I have worked at a dog kennel, and have a degree in Animal Science. I have had many years of experience caring for and training dogs, both my own and for others, though I have not trained dogs professionally. I have been training and competing in agility, conformation and other dog sports for almost 15 years and have a great deal of experience that has given me tools to work with a variety of dogs. I have volunteered to work with less adoptable dogs at our local animal shelter and have fostered multiple puppies and adult dogs through a local rescue. I am also able to provide board and train services upon request for the following- puppy house training, puppy manners/training, basic manners, basic obedience, leash walking and sports foundations. We have fostered/ watched dogs of all ages and I am comfortable administering medications. We live in a very quiet neighborhood, have a nice sized fenced in yard, and will make your dog feel at home while you're away!

Ellie (and her family) did an awesome job watching our young lab and puppy!! She was super communicative and took such good care of both dogs while we were away for some of the weekend! And both Penny and Annie came back to us perfectly healthy and well taken care of! Such a huge peace of mind to know if and when we need to have Ellie watch our dogs again, they will be in very capable and thoughtful hands!
She was excellent! Wanted to make sure my pups were comfortable and safe. She kept me informed on how they were doing the whole weekend. I highly recommend her and will use her again!
Ellie took great care of Echo. He came home tired, so I know he got exercised. She was good at follow up emails when I had questions and sent many pictures.
Our puppy Ollie had the best time during his stay here.. he didn’t even want to come home :) It was our first time leaving him with someone and Ellie was wonderful during the whole process! She sent lots of pictures and videos, kept us updated the whole time, and even administered his ear drops for us! We will definitely be booking again the next time we travel!
Definitely will be booking again with Ellie. My Penny had so much fun playing in the fenced in backyard with her new puppy friends. Ellie was very attentive and even saved for me the baby tooth Penny lost during her visit. Thank you
10/10 recommend! Ellie and her family took care of my dog as though he was their own. Kind, attentive, flexible, responsible, and so much more. Ellie also went the extra mile to keep me updated with photos while I was away. Request Ellie!!!!!

Schedule
We have 3 dogs of our own, which need their own care, so we are easily able to care for others as well. We give ours and any boarding dogs plenty of love, playtime and enrichment. Dogs will be kenneled or penned separately when not supervised depending on the individual dog’s needs. Weather dependent, we can spend a great deal of time outside depending on the dog’s wants. If your dog gets along well with mine, they can play together, however if your dog is not comfortable with that, they will be kept separate and exercised and snuggled separately.

I have a fenced in yard and dogs are not left out unsupervised. I have three friendly dogs to keep your pup company and provide an outlet for energy. If your dog is not comfortable with mine, they will be kept separate, and exercised and snuggled separately as well. I kennel/ pen dogs while I am out of the house for the safety of all and have the ability to gate off sections of my house when dogs need a break from each other. Food is fed separately either in a kennel or in a gated area of the house.

A typical day
I have a fenced in yard with toys and agility equipment safe for all dogs. We can play fetch, games of chase or even relaxing outside depending on weather. I have puzzle toys and puzzle feeders if brain work is what your dog needs. Can provide baths/ coat blow outs/ major brushing beyond maintenance and nail trims upon request as long as dog is willing enough for it to be safe.
